6th
Sixth Grade Band class is a methods/performance class.  It meets 2-3 days per week  during a regularly scheduled class time.  The students will be taught basic music reading fundamentals, instrument assemblage and care, basic performance techniques, and concepts related to cooperative band rehearsal and performance.

7th and 8th
While we are in digital instruction to begin this school year, we will focus on music theory and how to play the instruments. We will have to get creative with our digital performances until it is safe to resume concerts/performances as normal. No worries, we will have a ton of fun doing this. I’m fully confident in your ability to participate in some of the fun digital music performances. We will address normal band concerns (ie. fundraising, uniforms, dates, etc.) as the year unfolds. For now, our focus will be working on the instruments and completing band class assignments through eClass.
